Hand-coloring
True to the originals, our set of Bodmer giclée prints are produced in black and white.
However, these giclée prints are hand-colored in period color palettes by Jane Niebling.
Part of the charm of hand coloring is that each print will be worked on individualy. While two prints may have the same overal appearance, the fine detail and brush work will, upon close inspection, be found to show small differences.
In effect, each hand-colored print will become a new original.
Limited Edition
We know how special it is to own a piece from your favorite artist; a piece that will be a real talking point in your home.
That is why each edition is limited to just 50 prints. These are numbered from 1/50 to 50/50H and are signed and stamped with a blind embossing.
